Block open-sources Berd, a desktop workspace for AI agents across models and tools
Block has open-sourced Berd, a desktop application it originally built for internal use as a unified workspace for AI agents, models, files, and projects. The app is available on GitHub under the Apache 2.0 license with downloadable builds for macOS, Windows, and Linux, and Block says it stores conversation history locally while working directly with local files, repositories, and tools.

Cursor launches Origin code hosting platform for paid users
Cursor has begun rolling out Origin, its own code hosting platform, to paid users. VentureBeat framed the launch against a same-day GitHub outage that affected core developer services including pull requests, API access, enterprise single sign-on, and Copilot, but the discrete news is Cursor's product release.

Tencent open-sources Team Memory beta for shared context across multi-agent AI teams
Tencent has launched the beta of Team Memory, an open-source extension of its Agent Memory project that lets multiple AI agents share governed memory assets through a central hub. The system supports assets including chat memory, skills, document-based wiki entries, and code graphs, with access controls that determine which agents or team members can read each asset. Early discussion around the release has focused on a current gap: while Team Memory includes ownership and visibility controls, its documentation does not yet describe a correction or expiry process for wrong or conflicting memories once they propagate across a team.
