   Relay shuts down as much of its team joins Google Chrome

   AI automation startup Relay is shutting down, and much of its staff is joining Google’s Chrome team, according to TechCrunch. Relay founder and CEO Jacob Bank said the team will work on AI features in Chrome, signaling an acqui-hire style move rather than a standalone product launch or financing event.

   Anthropic adds a Chrome sidebar for Claude Cowork

   Anthropic has added a Chrome browser extension that lets users run Claude Cowork in a sidebar while they browse the web. The update expands access to Anthropic's agent product beyond its earlier smartphone rollout and gives users a persistent in-browser surface for ongoing conversations and task management.
