Microsoft begins unifying its Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot apps
Microsoft is starting to combine its consumer and commercial Copilot assistants into a single app experience. According to The Verge, users of the Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot apps will be moved into a unified Microsoft Copilot app that supports both personal and work accounts and uses updated branding.
Why it matters: The change simplifies Microsoft's fragmented Copilot product lineup and could make it easier for users to move between personal and workplace AI workflows. It also reflects Microsoft's broader strategy to turn Copilot into a single front door for AI across consumer and enterprise software.
