Lumilens raises $700 million for optical interconnect technology for AI data centers

The Wall Street Journal reports that Lumilens has raised $700 million in new funding at a $5.5 billion valuation. The company makes optical hardware designed to move data between AI servers faster by replacing or reducing conventional wired interconnects inside data centers.
